ASP.NET Development Course

Course Description

The ASP.NET Development course covers the principles of web application development using the ASP.NET environment and any .NET programming language, such as Visual Basic or C#. The course covers the common language runtime, web forms, web controls, and connections to databases.

Course Objectives

Delegates who complete the ASP.NET Development course will be able to:

• Create ASP.NET programs in C# or Visual Basic.
• Use ADO.NET compliant databases in programs.
• Create simple Web Services.

Developers who want to develop web applications using the .NET framework.

Course Prerequisites

The Web Development with HTML and CSS course or experience in HTML and CSS.

Delegates must have attended the Visual Basic or C# courses. Alternatively delegates should have experience programming with VB.2005 or C#.

Previous experience in ASP or another server-side development environment, and a working knowledge of SQL statements or the SQL Fundamentals will be an advantage.
